Celebrating Self-Love, Identity & Confidence
Published by Read to You 365 | CJT Production
Summer is here! āļø
The school year may be over, but learning never stops. July is the perfect time for children to slow down, explore their interests, and discover the amazing person they are becoming.
At Read to You 365, we believe every child deserves to see themselves reflected in the books they read and the stories they tell about themselves. This month, we're celebrating self-love, confidence, and identityĀ through books, conversations, and fun family activities.
š July Affirmation
"I love who I am becoming."
Encourage your child to repeat this affirmation every morning while looking in the mirror. Small words spoken consistently can build lifelong confidence.
š This Month's Featured Books
Magnificent Homespun Brown
A beautiful celebration of the richness, beauty, and uniqueness found within every child.
I Love My Hair
A joyful reminder that our hair tells a story, connects us to our heritage, and deserves to be celebrated with pride.
After reading together, ask:
What do you love most about yourself?
What makes our family unique?
What is something you're proud of?

š Parent Corner
Dear Parents and Caregivers,
Summer can sometimes feel overwhelming. There are schedules to juggle, meals to prepare, and endless ways to keep children entertained.
Here's a gentle reminder:
You don't have to create a perfect summer.
Children don't measure love by expensive vacations or elaborate plans.
They remember the stories you read together.
They remember laughing with you.
They remember your hugs.
They remember that you listened.
Even fifteen intentional minutes each day can strengthen your child's confidence and create memories that last a lifetime.
Give yourself grace.
You're doing more than you realize.
š¬ Conversation Starters
Ask your child:
ā¤ļø What makes you special?
š What is something new you've learned this summer?
š What do you love most about yourself?
š¤ How can we encourage someone else today?
šÆ What is one goal you'd like to accomplish before school starts again?

Yes! This is exactly what will make your blog and website stand apart. Instead of simply saying, "Here are some activities," you'll become a trusted resource for families. I'd actually make this a permanent section at the end of every monthly blog called š Family Resource Corner.
